I normally don't do celebrity news but do you recognize this face? Remember Fall Out Boy? Well this is the lead singer Patrick Stump.Dramtatic change right? Yeah he dropped some serious pounds. Kudos to him.But back to the reason why he is on here lol.He went from blue jean jackets,trucker hats and semi- baggy jeans to fitted jeans, broad shoulder suits.I'm liking this oversized scarf and striped shirt  cute.laid- back and stylish.I love the new wardrobe though ,it suits him ..get it ..it suits him lol but check out his fab new song "This City" this song was on repeat on the ipod when I got it .LOOK! :)

He Insisted...

A couple of hours after our mini photoshoot and talking how the day went well Zach said hey it would be cool to put a goomba (for my mario players out there) under him jumping so I worked my graphic design skills from my design applications class and this is what I came up with. He loved it and by the way and  it is now his profile picture .

This here is my photographer Zach.He is attending The Art Institute and is majoring in Graphic Design also. He has worked on video productions so he knows how to take shoot at angles and did a fab job on one of my past pictures so we made it offical that this is his job now lol. It was his idea to use the cool  bench in the photo and where to place it was purely a good idea. I couldn't be more happy with the results of everything.

One of our last projects for Drawing is to draw an object with a blanket.I struggled with it  but once I went home and sat down to work it actually flowed in my sketch book then i transferred it to the 18x24 drawing paper. What do you think?

While at the checkout section at Office Depot I layed my eyes on these cute envelopes.I know some people are saying is she seriously making a blog post about an envelope? Yup I am. They were only $.99  I was so thrilled and wondered what could I use them for I instantly thought of a money bag or paycheck envelope for my future workers .I don't knw what yet but I jus thought they were cool and I didnt have my ipod to take the photo so my trusty Metro Pcs came through for me .Yes!

The Art of Getting By

I just watched "The Art Of Getting By". Ok so I'm somewhat confused.George is a senior and he doesn't put any time into school work because he doesn't see the point in doing it and mind you he is really talented.He meets a girl starts to fall in love with her but refuses to let her know because he isn't used to sharing his feelings then his good friend takes the girl from him and he gets hurt so he is back to square one with no one by his side and the possiblity of not graduating.Then he comes to realize he need to get his act together, he then tells Sally that he loves her but it too late because she is gonna travel Europe with his friend that has fallen for her (what a bummer right).. then come to find out she loves him right back and forget about guy she was gonna travel with and goes back to George and see that he drew a painting of her (aww) and the movie ends . Isn't that a great movie? This movie was good though despite  beer being served to them at a resturant and their like 18 lol.I love Emma Roberts in these comin of age stories and the fact they are indie. But overall this a good movie and enjoyed the ups and downs of it.

Mystery Movie

I was going through some of my posts and in my "Fashion Gone Wrong" post I said stay turned to my next post to see what is  one of my favorite movies was that I couldnt wait to see at Atlantic Station ...well I didnt get to go to Atlantic Station :(  but the this movie I absolutely LOVEEE. When I got my first job as an assistant I immediately went to watch this movie to get an insight what my job could be like with running errands and such. When this movie comes on I don't care if i saw it like 30 times it never gets old. I'd love To work at a magazine or be a creative director or putting editorials together it doesn't matter I would love it all just being at a place of a print publication majority magazines.I have a huge pile of magazines though but I'll post about that another time but back to this wonderful movie. Ever since Princess Diaries I love Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep played such a classy villian with so few spoke words. The situation Andy is faced with is hard for anyone whos career has skyrocket but losing themselves in the process and The Fashion? Need I say more? I Love !

InDesign Project

This week was a stressful week at school there was a 18x24 drawing ,2 Photoshop assignments, and 5 page Essay due ahh! But it all got done and I made an A on all of them so whew glad that's over with. Yesterday was our last class before we take our final next week and we finally worked with INDESIGN!! I was so thrilled because it's the software used to make magazines! So we had to make a movie review article and I was kinda rusty on working with InDesign but I believe I did a good job .I did the review on one of my favorite movies. Can you guess what it was lol ?  

STUFFED PEPPERS

Yesterday my mom made stuffed peppers .I never tried them before and I'm usual skeptical of food I've never tried before but I gave it a try and it was so good I defintely asked her to make it again for dinner.


 Heres the recipe just in case you would like to try it out at home.


Ingredients:

• Sweet Peppers
• Ground Turkey
• Black Pepper Salt
• Tomato Sauce
• Garlic
• Onions
• Shreeded Cheese

1. Cut the top of the pepper(s) and empty the contents out of them
2. Boil them in a pot for about 10 mins. (Make sure they don't get too soft)
3.Dice the the top of the peppers in to pieces
4Add  onions, garlic and a tad of black pepper and salt.
5.Toss into a saucepan.
6. Add the ground turkey to it and allow to cook for 20 mins.
7.Add tomato sauce and let it settle and rotate  for 5 mins
8.After its cooked transfer the vegetables and turkey into the softened peppers
9. Add cheese to the top of it
10..Put in oven for 3-7 mins to make sure cheese is melted.

Fashion Night Gone Wrong

Yesterday was the kick off day of Fashion Night Out in Atlanta and there was a fashion show going on at PerimeterMall.. and I was so amped to go like seriously I was AMPED! I had gotten wrong directions and ended up going to SIX FLAGS..so I got lost lol ehh but it was funny getting lost ahh what a nice way to start off FNO lol hopefully I'll make it to Atlantic Station saturday to watch one of my FAVORITE movies. Want to know what it is ?..stay tuned to my next post :)

Excuse my New Yorkness but YOOOOO.. Fashion Night Out is coming to Georgia Again!!FNO is a couple days mostly during fashion week where many retailers give deals to customers to celebrate fashion during this recession. I am so amped.I was texting a friend when I stumbled upon FNO comin here. It Starts Sept 8-12, yes it's short notice but hopefully I can go. Its 3 days of fablousness. There are going to be shopping deals all over Atlanta from Midtown-Atlantic Station to Lenox ugh it just pure goodness.And.. there a free bus that take goers to all the events that will take place isn't that cool not spending gas money ?.. I think it is ..Well im oFF to find out more on what is going to happen at FNO..Anyone is going? let me know.

I suddenly had an epiphany of a great movie I had seen some months ago. It was called "The Dead Poets Society".Yes, it's kind of a throwback movie from 1989 but hey it was a touching movie of a bond between a teacher and his students..(not in that kind of way).The teacher  encouraged his students through literature and poetry that they had the power to change their lives and create their own future regardless of the pressure of being in a prep school where excellence is must . This movie is definitely a must see .Here is a snippet of the ending that I thought was strong and memorizing."The Dead Poets Society"= WOW.

BLOGS!!

Above my dear viewers is BRI EMERY! Bri graduated from FIDM in California. Guess wat she majored in ?....guessed it yet?..Well I'll tell you its.(Drum Roll) Graphic Design !! She is totally awesome in what she does.Bri does ober stuff like being an Art Director at Rue Magazine ,her own blog is is filled with happiness and pastel like colors,Blogshop where she teaches how utilize Photoshop for bloggers.

 I so love her blog ,she inspires me in matter of fact.She gave me encouragement that you can be a graphic designer and be oh so happy. By the way I would like to attend one of her Blogshops one day ,(although she coming to GA in November can't go :( . Since I found her blog which is don't remember how ) I"ve been checking the blog ever since.I love the captivating pictures and creativity on the site like how she writes on the photos and the calm colors makes it looks so priceless. See for yourself.
