                              While watching HGTV a commerical came on for Property Brothers and I instantly loved the song that was playing.So I searched MGMT because it sound like them but it wasn't after some more research  found out it was The Naked and Famous. Their album is pretty good and the album cover I love with the colors.It makes me think of a world that is ours and we can make it into something postive and to stand out anyway ,my favorite song is youngblood, it isn't as eerie as it sounds believe me I thought the same .Want to hear what I am talking about? Cubism Portrait

In Intro to Graphic Design we are working on typography. Learning about typography is fun and not a drag like how I thought it was going to be.The second picture is the typography assignment we did in class.

( I believe by the time this school year is over my room it is going to look like a gallery.)

The third picture is a sketch I'm working on for color theory.We are studying cubsim. Can you tell what kind of theme my picture is about?

Defiantely Fall has come.On my way back home I couldnt help but notice the lovely colors of the trees. It's weird how I never realized how great this season is with fascinating scenaries when the sun hits just right. Lately I realized there is a season for everything like change,blessings,sadness or happiness. What season are you in?

                      Teen Vogue's cover for the November issue was nicely done with the pastel colors and very chic.Alexa Chung is adorable on the cover with the nice bow shirt. Normally she goes for somewhat of a edgy look, but lately she has been softening it up.
By the way I'm a magazine fanatic.There's a pile on my dresser that is continuously growing.To name a few; Teen People magazine which I don't believe exists  anymore and CosmoGirl which ended with Taylor Swift doing the last cover for the December issue :( . My dream job is to work at a well known magazine.As Rachel Zoe would say.I die lol

Random Question: If a 20 yr still reads a teen magazine, is it weird?

I would say this is a urbanized classy look.

Love evrything about her outfit.The purse and the scarf addes it own personal flair to the whole outfit.

I felt like Rachel Zoe trying on her whole closet to get this outfit. I wanted something that was bold and had a print. Knowing my wardobe it wasnt going to be easy because I like simple things. But I found my cute top staring right in my face. I didn't want to wear jeans so I paired it with a dress ..ooo bet u didn't know that with stockings and a boots to tone it down a little bit without it looking like I was going to church .. which gives me a transition to my next sentence. I wanted an outfit that I could go from school to church that evening and this outfit did it.#Swagg lol

This is Ra.pronounced (Rae).When I saw her I instantly thought of the celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe. Rachel Zoe style is vintage and the outfit Ra is wearing a elegant dress with a 60's feel.The flowing dress is just wonderful. The side braid give it a flattering whimsical feel to it. 

Gerald is wearing a 80's inspired look that seems to be coming back into style with guys these days.The all jean effect and the plaid shirt pulls the look together.

Home Necessities

  The splatters of paint remond my of my color theory class.Its cool the design seems as if paint is on the plate

 The tray looks a little bit old school but hey I like it. Perfect for putting a small piece of delight on.

 I realized I like modern thing. It never came to me how cool a floor mirror would look in a loft and the tiles around gives it a better look

    Randomly Scrolling through a website this advertisement came up of West Elm .The site has neat modern thing for a house I just had to show you the things I would definitely love in my loft one day. My place wouldn't be complete with out some art .I mean I am an art student.

  Do you see how big those balloons are? They scream fun. I found them at my most fav blog when she was writing about the New York blogshop.But anywho.. these ballons give a whimsical feeling and it makes a person smile with the awesome colors or the crazy interesting decorations attached to it. I would so have her do some ballons for an fun event or have her coordinate the event but too bad she lives in California ..darn (snaps fingers). Here's Her Story :)
 Next thing for me to brag about is blogshop in New York, I would like to attend a class one day.The vibe of the place the girls set for the students is so laid back and stylish, and I notice that most of the students used Macbooks gosh lol . But hey it is the best computer to have when it comes to design but hey check it the scene I'm talking about ..Go on Now shoot lol

This here is a Fashion Retail & Retail Management student at AIA-D.She has a great sense of style. When I first saw her at orientation(non-stalkerish way) she wore a sleeveless dress  I believe was purple with a mini scarf in the middle like a belt with a fedora. Well put together I might add.Today she is wearing a floral dress with a brown belt around the mid-section.Cute babydoll shoes. To give it a edgy feel she added a brown jacket some what of a biker coat but yet classy.The dress expresses a flirty look and the jackets add the a tough vibe.

Tie Him Up

As I was searching for street fashion I stumbled across these photos.I don't know what it is with me loving bow ties, it adds a polished vibe to any male outfit.If I ever dress a male I would definately go for a a casual preppy look.What not to love?I found them Bing & Bing!

 I must say Mr.Hammonds is the most stylish teacher I've seen at AIA. When I first saw him he was wearing shoes that looked like oxfords, a button down a white shirt and a fab bow tie to make it all pop altogether. But today he is wearing a red fitted suit that attracted me that I jus had to take a photo. Also guess what he is also rocking? A bow tie of-course that is absolutely adorable.Lastly who says that men can't have a man bag. What makes the bag so great is it is masculine and is like a substition for a brief case. Hope this outfit inspires you because it did for me. Lesson learned here is just because it's fall doesnt mean you have to stick with dark colors.

Branding

As I was doing my daily scroll on DESIGNLOVEFEST. Bri was referring to branding.Branding is where a graphic designer makes a product marketable by creating the design of it whether it's  box of crackers, boutique bags, or designing a shop.BRanding goes a long way and gives a person a way to creatively express themselves..
I can't wait to take my branding class in the near future.For example the branding done here for this company is classic, and stands out.I'm not much of a fan on white on white space but, in this case it's a job well done for this shop that sells French Macarons (they taste so good).
